About

We got married, had kids and now we’re learning new things all the time! We will share how we have learned to navigate wedded bliss, parenthood, and life in general…with kids in tow.

Mom & Dad – The Foundation

One of the things we often find ourselves doing is putting our kids’ needs before our own. I am not AT ALL saying that you shouldn’t tend to your children’s needs, but we need to remember where this all began! Two people fell in love!  At least, that’s how it happened for my family. (Note: or a parent made the choice to nurture a child.) We won’t discriminate on this site; we are all just parents trying to do things necessary to raise wonderful little people!  So, back to my point.  The grown-ups in this equation (however it came to be), were people before they were parents. We need to remember that it is OK to give ourselves a break once in a while!  We all perform better at whatever we do, if we are allowed a chance to recharge. This is where we will share what has worked for us, and what hasn’t, in our attempt at nurturing the relationship that started it all.

    That’s lovely! 🙂
I couldn’t agree more that ‘mom and dad’ have to come first…kids learn from that and will respect their parents forever!

Thanks, Roz. I need to do a better job of keeping it updated, but it’s been a pretty busy year!
